Research

Adult Nursing focuses on a wide range of health issues, including acute, convalescent, chronic, and end-of-life, and nursing care. We specialize mainly in cancer nursing and rehabilitation nursing, and our research focus on people who is cancer survivor and wheelchair user through interview.
In Disaster Nursing, we use our experience of working in disaster-affected areas to conduct “research on the psychology of disaster victims”, “research on the construction of disaster nursing”, and “research on the management of evacuation centers in collaboration with government”. In addition to these studies, we are making effort to improve the disaster preparedness of the community.
In the Master's Program in Nursing at the Graduate School of Medical Science, the Disaster Nursing Certified Nurse Specialist(CNS)Education Program started in 2014, and the Cancer Nursing CNS Education Program started in 2015, and lecturers with experience and achievements in disaster nursing and cancer nursing are invited from other specialized fields and medical institutions to collaborate with our faculty to train advanced practice nurses who learn and work practically and professionally.
